Regal Inn Ballito

Was there for a brief one-night stay. The hotel was great, just had very noisy fellow guests shouting and screaming in the hallways and in their rooms the whole afternoon and well into the night until midnight. I had to quiet the guests down myself multiple times. That was rather annoying. The soundproofing in the room is obviously not very good. So not a bad review for the hotel in any way, but just noting the very inconsiderate guests on my floor.

For the price you pay, it's fantastic! Rooms are spotless, staff are friendly and ready to assist, and did I mention that they their own private bar! There's a little courtyard with a pool, outside lounge and a neat little fire pit. This Inn may be in the middle of town but it's definitely kitted out for any sort of stay.

Great value for money, clean and great location We landed in Durban in the evening and wanted to stay somewhere cost effective but centrally located, clean and comfortable ahead of traveling to our destination the next morning. The Regal Inn in Ballito did not disappoint! The king size bed was super comfortable and the room was modern and clearly recently refurbished. The bathroom was small but neat and the reception area has seating where you can work while waiting for transport. The location is great as it’s close to two shopping centers - one which is a big mall and the other an outdoorsy kind with lots of eating places and great vibe, especially in December! There are no lifts so keep this in mind when packing or if you have circumstances (wheel chairs or prams) perhaps request a ground floor room. I’d definitely stay here again if I didn’t need to be on the beachfront or if looking for a cheaper but still decent place to stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was sufficient, nice, comfortable and clean. Good affordable prices. I suggest that the floors be rinsed after being washed, because there was a bit of a smell caused by some soaps and chemicals when floors are not rinsed with clean water...I could see the residue on the floor. A dullness that clears up when you walk on the floor with bare feet. The TV channels have bad reception. Further overall I enjoyed my stay and slept well. Thank you. Blessings!

I booked accommodation in Ballito which ended up in disaster. Regal Inn could accommodate me immediately even though it was such short notice. Price is good, rooms are very neat, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Would give this place more stars if it was possible. I will come back any time.
